Hi friends! I wasn’t tagged to do this, but I found it on Whimsically Meghan‘s page and just couldn’t resist doing it myself. This tag (and all of the images) was originally created by Olivia over at Purely Olivia so feel free to go check both of their posts out as well.
All of the prompts are based on Taylor Swift songs. Reputation is one of my favorite albums, and Taylor Swift was the first person I ever saw in concert (back in her country days) so this is going to be really fun to do! Without further ado, let’s get into it.
If you’ve read it, then you know what I’m talking about. That ending was extremely painful and I’m so ready for the next book.
I mean how could you not think about these criminal prodigies? I love a good heist.
I genuinely think that this has the potential to be such a great rom-com about comic-cons and fandoms. I’m not a huge Cinderella fan, but this was too cute to not fall in love with.
This literally has the prettiest cover in existence and you can’t convince me otherwise.
Soo everyone really hates on this series but loves The Infernal Devices and The Dark Artifices. But honestly TMI is my favorite out of all of her series and you can come at me. Clary gets such a bad rep but she’s actually a really amazing MC and has a lot of character development.
This is a huge kid’s series with over 50 books, that all focus on a young main character whose parents are veterinarians. As a huge animal lover, it’s no question as to why I was drawn to these books and read them time and time again when I was little. I absolutely adored all of the ones that I read, especially the ones about horses, and it makes me sad that hardly anyone else knows about them.
I very rarely like a book from the first couple of pages, but as soon I picked this up I was hooked. I like spooky stories with unreliable narrators but none of the others that I’ve read have topped this trilogy.
This has and always will be one of my all-time favorite novels. I’m usually not a fan of classics, but I’m a sucker for tragedies and am fascinated by the roaring 20’s. Plus, how could anyone resist Gatsby? To explain my love for this novel, I’ll just say that when my class got assigned a massive paper on this book for school, I was extremely excited about the assignment.
So I used the 9th book (because it’s my fave) but honestly any of the books from the Kate Daniels series applies to this. The characters are truly a POWER COUPLE and their witty banter is on a whole other level.
Ronan Lynch is one of my favorite characters of all time and this installment of The Raven Cycle mainly focused on him. There was magic, monsters, street racing, drugs, dreaming, fighting, psychics, and so much more. Every time I read this, I start driving a little crazier.
I didn’t love the first book per say, but I did really enjoy Nevernight and was excited to see where things would lead in the sequel. I was extremely disappointed. So many things that the MC did in this just seemed very out of character, a lot of the content was boring filler, and stuff was just pretty predictable. I’m still not sure if I’ll finish the trilogy or not.
I’m going to be that person again and say that anyone who wants to do this tag, consider yourself tagged! It was really fun to do so you should definitely give it a go.

I remember reading Animal Ark as a kid! I agree with you about the Mortal Instruments series, I find that people either really love it, or they’re not into it. π

Yay, I’m so glad to finally find someone else that’s read the Animal Arks books! They were so great. I lowkey want to buy all of them and force my niece to read and love them lol. And yes that’s very true!
Whimsically Meghan says
Haha, I guess there aren’t very many of us out there who read them!
That sounds like a nice idea! π

Thank you so much for participating in my tag, all your answers were amazing! π I just finished Six of Crows recently, but I can tell I’ll be thinking about it for many months to come. How can I ever get over the characters?? Also, YES, the Raven Cycle- it’s the best. XD

It’s honestly my pleasure and thank you as well! It was such a creative tag and you did a fantastic job creating all of the prompts and images. Ooh I’m glad you like Six of Crows and hope you enjoy the sequel as well! I’m thinking of re-reading them soon actually, especially since it’s getting a Netflix tv show soon! And yes, The Raven Cycle is an all-time favorite! (:
